GH Coaches are the official provider of away travel for Crawley Town Football Club.
Alain and Patrick Harper have been organising away travel for Crawley supporters for many years – in fact Alain for over 40, from the old Town Mead days as the supporters club when we used Tri-Star midi coaches to the current day as GH Coaches where United Coaches are our coach provider – we have had some great memorable F A cup days 17 coaches to Hayes, 34 to Brighton, 26 to Old Trafford and then our only playoff game when 10 travelled to Wembley (thank goodness we are close as many of the 17,000 supporters went by train). We have gained much experience over the years and hopefully we can cope with any requirement put on us.
We operate with no membership scheme but will ask you to fill in our travel form so that we have details enabling us to be able to contact you if there are any problems or information that we need to provide. Seats on all of our coaches are sold on a first come basis – once the initial coach is full we will start a standby list for any cancellations – should we get sufficient numbers on the standby list we will then consider providing additional coaches.
Everyone is made welcome and you will be travelling with like-minded people who are supporting the Red Devils – enjoy the banter and join in – you will make friends and it’s stress free travel.
We do send out Emails on a regular basis so that supporters are kept up to date with travel arrangements to the next away games and club news, plus the odd comment from me.
2026/2027 Season
We go again in August when the new season gets under way in League Two – with 6 new teams to visit. The fixtures are due out at the end of June so we will then start the arrangements for travelling.
We do not see us changing our travelling arrangements next season, as these have been very successful over the years – we will continue to stop for a buffet lunch (which is included in the fares) and a drink at a pre-arranged pub stop for the longer matches. We will have new venues to find and some old venues to revisit. We have a comfort/coffee break after a couple of hours at a Motorway Services, enabling you to stretch your legs.
Most of the pubs we stop at have gotten to know us over the years and we have a good relationship with them all – the quality of the food is exceptional and we have always been treated very well. We leave straight after the match has finished. On the return journey we use the Motorway services for a comfort break especially on the longer trips where we have two drivers and they need to changeover. On our shorter journeys with one driver we leave it up to him whether he needs a stop or wants to press home – which in general most supporters are happy with.
We have toilet facilities on the coaches so you don’t need to panic plus USB charging points for your phones/iPad etc. Finally please remember to take everything with you when leaving the coach when arriving back in Crawley.
NO SMOKING/VAPES, NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS, NO BAD BEHAVIOR ON ANY OF OUR SUPPORTERS TRANSPORT THAT WE PROVIDE.
